Axa Advisors, LLC

Insurance & Financial Services

My name is Mark Purisch. I welcome you to my web site. I joined AXA Advisors in 1979 following my graduation from the University of Maryland where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.  Joining AXA Advisors was a natural choice for me.  My father, Malcom Purisch was a highly successful AXA Advisor who taught me early on about the importance of insurance and investments in a financial plan. Together with my father (now retired) and other AXA Advisor colleagues, we have built a successful Insurance & Financial Services firm dedicated to providing expert advice, quality products and superior service. We assist corporate clients in the implementation of employee benefit plans such as group medical and dental insurance, short and long term disability insurance and group term life insurance.  Pension Plans such as 401(k) and Executive Benefit plans round out our corporate services.  We help individual clients with Wealth Management and Retirement Planning, Long-Term Care Planning, Tax Advantaged Investment Strategies and Risk Management.

As a businessman, I recognize that each client's needs and desires are unique.  It is most important that we take time to ensure that all of our clients receive the appropriate services and products they need.  Outstanding client service is our top priority.

My personal motto is:

"Know your client, and exceed their expectations."

During my career with AXA Advisors, I have been the recipient of many company and industry awards. These include:

  • AXA Advisors Hall of Fame
  • AXA Advisors Superior Achievement Award
  • National Quality Award
  • Qualifying Member of Million Dollar Round Table
  • Hallmark I Award

Credentials, Professional Affiliations, Organizational Strengths

New Opportunity Under the Federal Gift Tax

The 2010 Tax Relief Act raised the lifetime gift-tax exclusion to $5 million. This means it could be a good time to make the most of tax-free gift transfers. If so, it's important to understand the annual and lifetime gift exemption limits, as well as which gifts might not be subject to them.

Tax Law Keeps S Corporations Attractive

S corporations are more common than C corporations and partnerships, perhaps because they are not subject to the corporate tax.
